Prayers

“…My Lord would not concern himself with you but for your prayer.” (25/77)
"O my Lord! Expand me my breast; Ease my task for me; and remove the impediment from my speech" (20/25:27, Moses) “O my Lord! Advance me in knowledge.” (20/114) O my Lord! Bestow wisdom on me, and join me with the righteous. (26/83) “O my Lord! Let my entry be by the Gate of Truth and Honour, and likewise my exit by the Gate of Truth and Honour; and grant me from Thy Presence an authority to aid (me).” (17/80)

“O my Lord! Leave me not without offspring, though thou art the best of inheritors.” (21/89, Zakariya) “O my Lord! Give me victory over folk who work corruption (do mischief).” (29/30) Unite me with the righteous. (12/101) Forgive us, and our brethren who came before us into the Faith, and leave not, in our hearts, rancour (or sense of injury) against those who have believed. (59/10) And let me not be in disgrace on the Day when (men) will be raised up. (26/87)
There is no god but thou: glory to thee. (21/87) I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. (23/97) Truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death, are (all) for Allah, the Cherisher of the Worlds (6/162) O my Lord! I do seek refuge with Thee, lest I ask Thee for that of which I have no knowledge. And unless thou forgive me and have Mercy on me, I should indeed be lost! (11/47) Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us: For Thou art the All-Hearing, the All-knowing (2/127) O my Lord! Make me one who establishes regular Prayer, and also (raise such) among my offspring (14/40) Our Lord! And make us submissive unto Thee and of our seed a nation submissive unto Thee, and show us our ways of worship, and relent toward us. Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Relenting, the Merciful. (2/128)

O my Lord! So order me that I may be grateful for Thy favours, which thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may work the righteousness that will please Thee: And admit me, by Thy Grace, to the ranks of Thy righteous Servants. (27/19, Solomon) O my Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou has bestowed upon me, and upon both my parents, and that I may work righteousness such as Thou mayest approve; and be gracious to me in my issue. Truly have I turned to Thee and truly do I bow (to Thee) in Islam. (46/15) O our Lord! Cover (us) with Thy Forgiveness - me, My parents, and (all) Believers, on the Day that the Reckoning will be established! (14/41) My Lord! Bestow on them thy Mercy even as they cherished me in childhood. (17/24)

"O Allah. Lord of Power (And Rule), Thou givest power to whom Thou pleasest, and Thou strippest off power from whom Thou pleasest: Thou enduest with honour whom Thou pleasest, and Thou bringest low whom Thou pleasest: In Thy hand is all good. Verily, over all things Thou hast power. Thou causest the night to gain on the day, and thou causest the day to gain on the night; Thou bringest the Living out of the dead, and Thou bringest the dead out of the Living; and Thou givest sustenance to whom Thou pleasest, without measure. (3/26:27)
